Tower servers from any manufacturer — Dell, HP, Lenovo, Supermicro — all recycled free. Always free. No appointment needed.
Do you accept tower servers for recycling?
Yes — we take tower servers free, working or broken, any brand and any age. Bring them to Computer Recycling LLC at 125 E 10th Ave, North Kansas City, MO 64116. No appointment, no minimum quantity, no fee. We are open Monday to Friday 8am–3pm and Saturday 8am–2pm. Pull around to the back dock, ring the bell, and our crew comes out to unload for you — most drop-offs take under five minutes. Nothing is landfilled: working gear is refurbished for reuse and the rest is broken down for material recovery through R2v3 or e-Stewards certified partners. Larger volumes can be picked up instead.
Free for businesses, on request. Certificates of Destruction and asset reports are free for companies and organizations — just ask at pickup or drop-off.
The essentials
We accept all tower servers: Dell PowerEdge T-series, HP ProLiant ML-series, Lenovo ThinkSystem ST-series, Supermicro towers, and any other tower-form-factor server. Include caddies, rails, power cables, and any accessories. Working, decommissioned, or non-functional.
Tower servers contain large quantities of copper, gold, silver, palladium, and platinum in their motherboards, processors, and memory modules. A single tower server can contain more recoverable precious metals than dozens of consumer PCs. Their power supplies contain capacitors and transformers with additional recoverable metals. Professional recycling maximizes material recovery.
Tower servers under 5 years old with current-generation processors (Intel Xeon Scalable, AMD EPYC) are among our highest-value buyback items. Dell PowerEdge and HP ProLiant towers are especially sought after. We can assess value on-site for larger quantities.

Computer Recycling LLC offers free tower server recycling for residents and businesses across the Kansas City metro area. We accept tower server recycling, Dell PowerEdge tower, HP ProLiant ML, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Supermicro tower, server disposal, and more — any brand, any condition, completely free. Equipment with remaining value may qualify for our buyback program.
Before dropping off a tower server, consider removing any removable storage drives if you want to handle data destruction yourself. If you prefer, we offer secure data wiping and physical drive destruction with a Certificate of Destruction for businesses that need documented proof of data sanitization. Tower servers are among the most resource-intensive electronics to manufacture, requiring significant amounts of mined metals and energy. By recycling your end-of-life server instead of sending it to a landfill, you help reduce the demand for new mining operations and prevent hazardous materials like lead solder and brominated flame retardants from leaching into the environment. Even servers that no longer power on contain valuable copper heatsinks, aluminum chassis components, and circuit boards worth recovering.
