Our crew unloads everything, including heavier items like TVs and monitors. You do not need to carry anything inside, sort anything, or remove cables.

The few things we can’t take
These need specialty processing streams we do not have contracts for — we would rather point you to the right place than turn you away at the dock.
- CRT and tube TVs. Leaded glass requires specialty downstream partners. See our guide to CRT TV disposal in Kansas City for alternatives.
- Plasma TVs. The same story. Contact the KCMO Household Hazardous Waste program for options.
- Large appliances. Refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves. These are scrap metal, not e-waste. A local scrap yard will often take them free.
- Hazardous waste. Paints, solvents, batteries with visible leaks, anything labeled hazardous. The Household Hazardous Waste program is the right destination.
- Fluorescent light bulbs and tubes. These contain mercury and need a separate recycling stream. Home Depot and Lowe’s run in-store programs.

TV drop-off: first 3 are free
You can drop off up to 3 TVs free of charge. Beyond that, each additional TV is $10, any size — so five TVs costs $20, not $50. Computer monitors are always free, with no quantity limit.

Every item is sorted by material type. Hard drives are wiped or physically destroyed. Metals, plastics, circuit boards, and glass are separated and sent to certified downstream recycling partners. Nothing goes to a landfill.
