Before recycling any Android device, take a few minutes to protect your personal data. Go to Settings, back up anything important to your Google account or a computer, then perform a factory reset to erase your data. Remove your SIM card and any microSD cards, as these are not recycled and may contain personal photos or contacts. For businesses recycling fleets of Android tablets or company phones, we offer secure data wiping services that meet NIST 800-88 standards with a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
