Do you accept webcams for recycling?
Yes — we take webcams free, working or broken, any brand and any age. Bring them to Computer Recycling LLC at 125 E 10th Ave, North Kansas City, MO 64116. No appointment, no minimum quantity, no fee. We are open Monday to Friday 8am–3pm and Saturday 8am–2pm. Pull around to the back dock, ring the bell, and our crew comes out to unload for you — most drop-offs take under five minutes. Nothing is landfilled: working gear is refurbished for reuse and the rest is broken down for material recovery through R2v3 or e-Stewards certified partners. Larger volumes can be picked up instead.
The essentials
We accept all webcams and video conferencing equipment: Logitech (C920, C922, Brio, Rally), Razer Kiyo, Elgato Facecam, Microsoft LifeCam, Poly/Polycom, Jabra, Obsbot, and all other USB and networked cameras. Conference room systems (Owl, Meeting Owl, Logitech Rally) welcome too.
Webcams contain precision optical elements, small circuit boards with gold-plated connectors, copper wiring, and plastic housings. Conference room cameras add aluminum housings and larger electronics. While individually small, the pandemic-era boom created millions of now-outdated webcams that need responsible recycling.
Enterprise conference cameras (Logitech Rally, Poly, Jabra) in working condition can retain significant value. High-end streaming webcams (Logitech Brio, Elgato Facecam) also qualify. Contact us for bulk quantities from office downsizes.
