Tablets contain large lithium-polymer batteries (often 8,000+ mAh), aluminum or glass housings, and dense circuit boards packed with precious metals. Schools and businesses often accumulate large quantities of outdated tablets that sit in storage closets for years. Whether you have a cart of 30 classroom iPads or a stack of company-issued Surface tablets, we make bulk recycling simple. For managed devices enrolled in Apple School Manager, Jamf, Intune, or Google Workspace, unenroll them from your MDM solution before drop-off so the devices can be properly wiped and potentially resold. If unenrollment is not possible, let us know and we will work with your IT team. Remove any protective cases and screen protectors that you want to keep, but leave them on if you do not need them back. We accept tablets with cracked screens, swollen batteries, and water damage — there is no condition too poor for recycling. Bulk drop-offs of 20 or more units may qualify for buyback even if individual devices would not.
