Free Projector Recycling
Classroom projector, home theater, or conference room unit — we recycle them recycling is always free. Always free. No appointment needed.
What We Accept
We accept all projectors: Epson, BenQ, Optoma, Sony, InFocus, ViewSonic, NEC, and more. DLP, LCD, and laser projectors. Include the bulb, remote, and cables if you have them.
Why Recycling Matters
Projectors contain mercury-vapor lamps (extremely toxic), lead, and rare earth phosphors. Projector bulbs are classified as hazardous waste in many jurisdictions. Professional recycling ensures safe mercury capture and material recovery.
Buyback & Value Recovery
High-lumen business and laser projectors in working condition often retain value. Epson, BenQ, and Sony models with low lamp hours are good candidates for buyback.

Projector lamps deserve extra caution during transport because older models use high-pressure mercury-vapor bulbs that can shatter if jolted. Keep the projector upright and cushion it with a towel or blanket in your vehicle — the original box is ideal if you still have it, but not required. Never attempt to remove or open the lamp compartment yourself, as a broken lamp releases mercury vapor. If the bulb is already cracked or the projector was dropped, place the entire unit in a plastic bag to contain any fragments and bring it in during regular hours. Schools and churches replacing ceiling-mounted projectors should disconnect the power and leave the mounting hardware attached — we accept everything together. Laser projectors do not contain mercury lamps but still require proper recycling for their optics and electronics.
