Do you accept LCD TVs for recycling?
Yes — we take LCD TVs of any size, working or broken, any brand and any age. The first 3 TVs per visit are free; each additional TV is $10, any size. Computer monitors are always free with no limit. Bring them to Computer Recycling LLC at 125 E 10th Ave, North Kansas City, MO 64116. No appointment, no minimum quantity, no fee. We are open Monday to Friday 8am–3pm and Saturday 8am–2pm. Pull around to the back dock, ring the bell, and our crew comes out to unload for you — most drop-offs take under five minutes. Nothing is landfilled: working gear is refurbished for reuse and the rest is broken down for material recovery through R2v3 or e-Stewards certified partners. Larger volumes can be picked up instead.

What We Accept
We accept all LCD televisions and computer monitors: Dell, HP, Samsung, LG, ASUS, Acer, BenQ, and every other brand. Any size from 15-inch monitors to 75-inch TV panels. Cracked screens welcome.
Why Recycling Matters
LCD panels contain liquid crystal fluid, mercury (in CCFL-backlit models), and lead solder. These materials pose serious environmental risks when crushed in landfills. Professional recycling separates the panel glass, recovers metals, and processes liquid crystals safely.
Buyback & Value Recovery
Business-grade monitors (Dell UltraSharp, HP Z-series) and recent consumer displays in working condition may qualify for buyback. Large quantities from office refreshes are especially good candidates.
You can drop off up to 3 TVs free of charge. Beyond that, each additional TV is $10, any size — so five TVs costs $20, not $50. Computer monitors are always free, with no quantity limit.

Before bringing in your LCD TV or monitor, unplug it and allow it to sit for at least a few minutes so internal capacitors can discharge. If the screen is cracked, place the unit face-down or tape a piece of cardboard over the panel to prevent loose glass from scattering during transport. You do not need to remove the stand or wall-mount bracket — we accept the entire unit as-is. Remotes, power cables, and HDMI cables can be brought along separately or left attached. For businesses replacing a fleet of monitors, we recommend stacking screens vertically in a vehicle rather than laying them flat, which reduces the chance of cracking additional panels on the drive over. No packaging or boxing is required — just bring the screens and we handle the rest.
