Free iPad & Tablet Recycling
iPads, Samsung Galaxy Tabs, Amazon Fires, Surface tablets — all recycled free. Always free. No appointment needed.
What We Accept
We accept all tablets: Apple iPad (every generation), Samsung Galaxy Tab, Microsoft Surface, Amazon Fire, Lenovo Tab, and more. Keyboards, cases, and styluses welcome too.
Why Recycling Matters
Tablets contain large lithium-polymer batteries, aluminum or glass housings, and dense circuit boards with precious metals. Their sealed construction makes home recycling dangerous (battery puncture risk). Professional processing ensures safe battery removal and maximum material recovery.
Buyback & Value Recovery
iPads and Surface Pro tablets retain strong resale value. Recent models in working condition — especially iPad Pro and iPad Air — often qualify for our buyback program. Bulk quantities from schools or businesses are great candidates.

Tablets store extensive personal information including photos, saved passwords, banking apps, and health data. Before recycling, sign out of your Apple ID, Google account, or Microsoft account and perform a full factory reset. For iPads, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Erase All Content and Settings. Make sure to disable Find My iPad first, as activation-locked devices cannot be refurbished or resold, reducing their recovery value.
Tablets should never be placed in regular trash or curbside recycling bins. Their large lithium-polymer batteries are a serious fire hazard when crushed or punctured — waste management facilities have reported fires caused by improperly discarded tablet batteries in compactor trucks. Beyond the safety risk, tablets contain recoverable aluminum (or magnesium in some models), cobalt from the battery cathode, indium from the touchscreen layer, and gold contacts on the logic board. Professional recycling captures these materials safely and feeds them back into the manufacturing supply chain, reducing the environmental toll of mining raw minerals.
