Free Desktop Computer Recycling
Old tower PCs, workstations, and desktop computers taking up space? Bring them to us. Always free. No appointment needed.
What We Accept
We accept all desktop computers regardless of brand, age, or condition — Dell OptiPlex, HP ProDesk, Lenovo ThinkCentre, custom-built PCs, gaming rigs, and more. Working or broken, we take them all.
Why Recycling Matters
Desktop computers contain lead, mercury, cadmium, and other hazardous materials in circuit boards, power supplies, and CRT components. When desktops end up in landfills, these toxins leach into soil and groundwater. Recycling recovers valuable metals like copper, aluminum, gold, and palladium while keeping harmful materials out of the environment.
Buyback & Value Recovery
Many business-class desktops retain significant resale value — especially newer Dell OptiPlex, HP ProDesk, and Lenovo ThinkCentre models with current-gen processors. If your desktops are under 5 years old and in working condition, we may be able to buy them back or credit you through our ITAD program.

Desktop computers store years of personal and business data on their internal hard drives. Before dropping off your tower or workstation, back up any important files to an external drive or cloud service, then wipe the hard drive if possible. For businesses handling sensitive information, ask us about our secure data destruction services — we offer NIST 800-88 compliant wiping and physical drive shredding with a Certificate of Destruction for full compliance documentation.
When preparing your desktop for transport, you do not need to disconnect or remove internal components like RAM, graphics cards, or power supplies — bring the whole unit as-is. However, do unplug all external cables, remove any CDs or DVDs from the optical drive, and disconnect USB peripherals. Desktops are classified as e-waste in Missouri and should never go in regular trash. Their power supplies contain capacitors that hold dangerous charges, circuit boards contain lead solder, and older units may have mercury switches — all of which require professional handling to recycle safely.
