Free Camera Recycling
Digital cameras, DSLR, mirrorless, camcorders, action cameras — all recycled free. Always free. No appointment needed.
What We Accept
We accept all cameras: DSLR and mirrorless (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic), point-and-shoot cameras, camcorders, action cameras (GoPro), trail cameras, dash cameras, film cameras, camera lenses, and accessories. Working or broken, any age.
Why Recycling Matters
Cameras contain precision-ground glass optics, rare earth elements in image sensors, lithium-ion batteries, copper wiring, and circuit boards with gold contacts. The image sensors alone contain indium and gallium — critically scarce elements. Recycling recovers these specialized materials that would be extremely difficult and environmentally costly to mine.
Buyback & Value Recovery
Camera equipment holds value exceptionally well. Canon, Nikon, and Sony DSLR and mirrorless bodies and lenses from the last 5 years often command strong prices. Even older pro-grade lenses can be valuable. Contact us with your gear list for a buyback quote.

Before dropping off your camera, take a moment to remove any SD cards or memory cards — these often contain personal photos and videos you may want to keep or securely erase. If the camera has internal storage, perform a factory reset through the settings menu to clear saved images, Wi-Fi passwords, and any linked cloud accounts. For cameras with GPS or geotagging features, disabling location services and wiping stored waypoints protects your privacy.
Remove the battery if it is user-accessible, and bring it along separately — we recycle batteries too, but loose batteries are easier to sort safely. Cameras should never be thrown in household trash because they contain lithium-ion batteries that pose fire risks in garbage trucks and landfills, along with circuit boards containing lead solder and small quantities of precious metals. Even a broken point-and-shoot camera yields recoverable glass, copper, aluminum, and rare earth elements that would otherwise be lost permanently.
